Good Morning,
Today is a good day to go over the Day and Date
We have found that during the Quarantine we have lost track of days.
We begin our mornings talking about what day it is and what's on our agenda for each day.
This is something that is a good read.
It is important to ask kids how they are feeling about all the factors affecting their lives right now.
Breakfast time is a good time to check in with them.

Good books for perspective on time spent at home, historical and thought provoking.

Journals are a good way to bring writing into your day each day and to get feelings put on paper to talk about.
you can use any bound notebook, but these are a cute alternative below and not too expensive.
You can look them up and follow the idea.

This is a great way to incorporate art into the day.

If you start with a notebook and have kids make their own decorated journals they will have a creative visual of their journey through this time to refer back to and jot down feelings as they experience them.

If you purchase at smile.amazon.com
A portion of your purchase price is donated to your fundraiser/organization of choice.
Mine is set up to donate to The Greater Boston Food bank, Mine ends up contributing a couple of dollars a month to the food bank, but I feel like I am always contributing for every day necessities and Smile Amazon does the donation for me. It is effortsless and makes me feel good that I am always giving to help others.
